Boise, ID - Congressman Mike Simpson is proud to announce the endorsements of:

  • Idaho Cattle Association
  • Idaho Grain Producers Association
  • Idaho Sugar Beet Growers Association
  • Milk Producers of Idaho
  • Idaho Potato Industry Political Action Committee

“I grew up moving pipe and working the potato fields of Eastern Idaho, and I’m truly honored to have the endorsement of these leading Ag groups who represent our Idaho farmers, ranchers and dairymen,” said Congressman Mike Simpson. “I’ve worked closely with these groups to curb the undue influence of the EPA in the everyday lives of farmers and to stop the Obama Administration’s attempts to circumvent Congress through rules and regulations. I’m proud to say that over the last three years I’ve authored legislation that cut the EPA’s budget by 20 percent but more needs to be done. With the help of these industry leaders, I’ll continue my fight against those in Washington D.C. who would harm Idaho agriculture.”

“MPI is proud to support and endorse Congressman Simpson for another term. Idaho needs a representative in Congress who understands Agriculture and will take a business approach to solving the difficult issues that face the Country, the State of Idaho and the Idaho Dairy industry,” said Tena Petter, Chair of the Milk Producers of Idaho.

“Without a doubt Congressman Simpson is a huge advocate for Idaho’s wheat and barley farmers,” said Idaho Grain Producers Association executive director Travis Jones. “He understands what farmers and agriculture mean to Idaho’s economy and values. He does much more than talk the talk, he walks the walk. He is a longstanding friend of the agriculture community and the IGPA is proud to support him.”

Congressman Simpson is a proud conservative who enjoys an A+ rating with the NRA and a 100 percent rating with National Right to Life. He has authored billions of dollars in cuts to the EPA, the delisting of wolves, and protections for Idaho’s farmers and ranchers. Simpson fought Obamacare by voting against it over 49 times, pushed a balanced budget amendment, and voted repeatedly to lower taxes on all Americans.
