Simpson Announces Campaign Team Additions

Boise, ID Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson today announced several additions to his campaign team for the upcoming election.

Simpson’s re-election campaign team additions include Sarah Nelson who joins Todd Cranney and Travis Hawkes as a Senior Advisor to the campaign. Sarah has served in leadership roles on campaigns across the west at every level ranging from state legislature to presidential. Most recently, Sarah served as the 2012 Romney for President State Director of Nevada and as a Regional Political Director where she oversaw activities in 17 west and mid-west states for the campaign. Sarah is an Idaho native and was raised in Southeastern, Idaho.

Soren Dorius is Simpson’s Finance Director. Soren has worked for the Republican National Committee and Romney for President as a field director and coalition director in Ohio. Previously he worked as a staff member for Ohio Republican Congressman Robert Latta.

Max Pond is serving as Field Director and overseeing grassroots operations for the campaign. Max was raised in Idaho and is a former intern for Senator Crapo. He has served in multiple volunteer roles for Governor Otter, Lt. Governor Little, and Former State Representative Mark Snodgrass.

He has authored billions of dollars in cuts to the EPA, the delisting of wolves, and protections for Idaho’s farmers and ranchers. Simpson fought Obamacare by voting against it over 40 times, pushed a balanced budget amendment, and voted repeatedly to lower taxes on all Americans.
